Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Student (2013)
"During the summer of 2013, I participated in the Research Experiences for Undergraduates program at the Center for Injury Research and Prevention under the mentorship of Dr. Aditya Belwadi. I worked on many engineering projects at the center, but I mainly focused on conducting a literature review about how side air bags affect child passengers in car crashes. I enjoyed the unique, multidisciplinary environment at CIRP, and my experience has inspired me to pursue a career in applied mathematics research. I am currently a junior at Elizabethtown College, where I am double majoring in Mathematics and Physics. My time at CIRP will prove to be invaluable as I continue my education and develop my career."
